Beef Tallow Pie Crust
Tallow makes the flakiest, most tender pie crust you will ever put in your mouth. Use for savory pot pies or sweet dessert pies.
Ingredients
½ cupBeef Tallowvery cold
2 tbspUnsalted Buttercold, optional for flavor
Instructions

Mix flour and salt. Cut cold tallow into flour until pea-sized pieces form.

Add ice water 1 tbsp at a time until dough just comes together.

Wrap and refrigerate 1 hour. Roll out and use for any pie.
