Classic Beef Chuck Pot Roast
Slow-braised chuck roast with root vegetables. A Sunday staple that practically makes itself — and it starts with beef raised right here in Ohio.

Pat roast dry, season with salt, pepper, and dry rub. Sear in a hot Dutch oven 3–4 min per side until deeply browned.

Deglaze with broth, add aromatics, nestle roast back halfway submerged. Cover and braise at 300°F.
